Hello - flying into San Juan Int'l and wonder what type of shuttle, bus, taxi services and charges there are into San Juan.

There are taxis available to transport you to San Juan. There will be an agent outside and you will advise him/her of where you are going. You will be told the fare up front and given a receipt for the driver. Fares do not include tip. SJU is very close to San Juan and Old San Juan. From what I remember it was around $15. There are public buses in San Juan but not sure they run from the airport.

I recall the taxi to the Condado (slightly shorter distance

than Old San Juan) taking about twenty minutes and

costing about $25 with tip

I took a bus in San Juan..not from the airport though. Went from Old San Juan all the way to the big mall..took a long time and wasnt on time in the first place. but it was cheap..you get what you pay for.

My condolences on your having used the AMA busses.

I can't wait for the train to be expanded to the tourist areas and airport.
