Picked up an Escalade in Orlando today for a one week rental. DW got a great deal and we are splitting it two ways.
Got in, new car smell. Started engine. Odometer THREE MILES. I don't know how that's even possible. When leaving lot, security guard confirmed new car.
I told my wife, I am treating it like its ours. I parked it way far away from entrance to grocery store.

Nice, was it loaded like it is suppose to be with factory Nav, or did they install NeverLost in it and remove the discs?
When I was down in Orlando, my Escalade rental had around 1,000 miles on the odometer.

Same at SLC on 24 December. Had 5 miles on it.
According to Hertz, they have plenty of new Escalade's at SLC. Unfortunately, I returned it pretty dirty on the outside after driving it to all the ski resorts.

Looking forward to me rentals in the Escalade in the next month or so :)
One SLC Escalade is going to end up in LAS though ;)

I am sure that Hertz got an awesome deal as nobody wants to buy those clunkers--just check out any dealership.

I certainly would have refused to take such a stupid gaz guzzler and climate destroyer. and insisted on a clean green car with an acceptable NoX emission.
Are these automotive dinosaurs sponsered by Exxon or the Saudi Oil companies?

I guess you aren't transporting 6 people and luggage.

Had Neverlost and they removed the factory discs.
Any one has Sirius or XM activated on these Escalade's
I would prefer Sirius to Neverlost

I was upgraded to one in Denver. It was brand new, 24 miles or so. It did have AlwaysLost and Sirius/XM.

I had one in Miami this week, 4000 miles and a very nice vehicle.
Had the CEO and MD with me, it was perfect for driving the wheels around.
Same as noted, factory NAV was missing the DVD's, Neverlost installed, and XM working, although for some reason it said XM but you had to dial in the Sirius channel to find what you want. IE XM32 The Message and I had to turn to what was displayed as XM66 The Message which is really Sirius66 The Message. Did you get that?

I do believe the proper term is "EverLost" :D
