Radisson goldpoints plus - Radisson: St Gallen, Switzerland? Any experiences?

Location comments: It is one of the newer hotels. About 10 minutes from train station. Location is fine if you have car.

or you take the trolley (direction Heiligkreuz) from central St.Gallen to the 'Schützengarten'-station ('Schützengarten' is the local St.Gallen brewery) which takes about 6 minutes from St.Gallen main train-station.

This ****Radisson also hosts a (the only one in St.Gallen) casino.

Next to the hotel (in the Schützengarten building) is one of the best (reasonable priced) local Restauarants, run be Köby Nett (who did held several Michelin stars during his cooking career).

Opposite is the most famous swiss-butcher for 'Bratwurst': 'Metzgerei Schmid'. The St.Gallen (veal) Bratwurst is a local specialty you should not miss. At Schmid you can get it hot from the grill for immediate consumption.

I can recommend this hotel as well. Well appointed rooms and great service by the hotel staff.
