Suggestions - I'd like to know who's added me to their ignore list
Okay, maybe it's a tad masochistic, but I'd be really interested in knowing who's added me to their "Ignore User" list.
I'm sure I have probably put my foot in it once or twice, and would really be interested to know who (if anyone) has chosen to ignore me so that I can make amends and reach out to the people concerned.
Is it possible to display this? Or even worthwhile?

This may be ridiculous but, if you are on their ignore list, how will they see this?

Good question. I was going to say that they would tell you, but are busy ignoring you.
but I didn't want to sound trite with the OP sounds like he is trying to make amends, New Year's resolution, or such.

I'd be curious to see how many FTers even use the ignore feature at all. I know I haven't in 5+ years here and suspect the number that use the feature would be very small and since it would likely be only a feature a small minority would use it wouldn't be worth it, were it even possible, to consider. Just MHO.

LOL . I'm not sure if a note would come indicating you are now being ignored. Maybe ask in the technical part of the forum ?

I have every person on this thread on my ignore list. In fact, now that I have posted, I have also put myself on it.

If someone not on the ignore list quotes you, then your post's content becomes visible to the person who added you to the ignore list.

This is a bad idea. It's way more likely to be abused than used for the reason the OP states.
If I add someone to my ignore list, it means I never want to see their posts again. No apology necessary.
Plus if you're on that list, you also can't PM them an apology. So you'd need a thread in Omni where these discussions would take place. How pleasant will those chats be? :p

I think that's partly because the software's implementation of it is just too anemic. To truly ignore someone, you shouldn't be seeing any notice whatsoever that there is a post by the person in question.
For Firefox users, this extension does the trick (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/7023). It really is an "Ignore" feature in every sense; there is no trace whatsoever of the user. Very nice.
