MilesBuzz! - Any bonus mile opportunities for new cell phone service?

Now that we consumers have tremendous flexibility in choosing a cell phone provider thanks to the number portability rule that took effect on Monday, I was wondering if anyone (pgary perhaps?) has a list of frequent flier mile earning opportunities from the various major cell phone service providers (e.g. Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Cingular, and Sprint). I'm likely to switch my provider soon and don't want to miss out on the possibility for a frequent flier mileage bonanza. Any known promotions?

As I suspected, pgary has the inside scoop on his website (http://home.earthlink.net/~pgary/MilesFrame.html). I knew I should have checked there first! But is he missing anything?

I was looking at the At&T site this morning and they offer 10K AA miles for new 2 year connections....

I don't know about any promos other than what PGARY has on his site, but I'd recommend checking out www.numberportability.com (http://www.numberportability.com) to comparison shop all the latest plans. Apparently they update the new plans a few times a day.
I would wait a few months. The competition could heat up, providing very good mileage earning opportunities.

Just a warning -- I've been waiting for US Airways bonus miles from Sprint PCS to post to my account since JUNE!!!!
Personally, I'm hoping for a good deal in the spring -- as none of the wireless companies seem to be offering great deals at the moment...

Very sorry to hear about your experience.
You have an account problem that clearly needs to be adressed.
Miles should not take that long to post.
On average 30 to 60 days if you clearly qualify. 90 tops
Sounds like there is either a missing ff account # or the promotion didn't register at sign up.
Please contact me through email and I will put you in touch with somebody at Sprint who can help research this for you and get this corrected ASAP.
Thank you for your support of Flyertalk
