Korean Air Skypass - Luggage limits for ST+ fliers?

I've been trying to interpret the luggage info page on koreanair.com without success so far, so I was wondering if someone could confirm my reading for me. For ST Elite+ fliers (DL Plat) the luggage limit in Y on a JFK-ICN-AKL r/t would be 2 bags at 23kg, just like any other Y flier? Or do you get additional weight/luggage like the SkyPass members?
Also, if we check through our bags on AKL-ICN-JFK on the way home, we get the additional 3kg of weight, yes?

Yes. Well, not "just like any other Y flyer", as most of the world has to make do with a weight allowance of 23kg instead, but you get the point.
The only related ST E+ benefit is priority luggage (ha ha!). Having said that, they may find your status a reason for them to be a bit more lenient if you're a few kilos over.

Like graraps said, no additional baggage allowance for ST E+ members. Note that if you fly all the way through JFK-ICN-ATL without a stopover at ICN, you're allowed to have two pieces of baggage with each piece weight up to 23kg. However if you fly JFK-ICN/ICN-AKL with a stopover at ICN, you're allowed to have as many pieces of baggage as you'd want but with total combined weight up to 20kg.

Does anyone know what the charge is for a third bag? I'm flying DFW-ICN-KUL.

You need to call to figure it out. Usually third bag on US-ICN costs 130 USD or so, oneway. I guess US-SE Asia will be somewhere around 130~200 USD.

Note that if DL Plats (maybe other elites too) book on DL codeshares operated by KE, you get the DL Plat baggage allowance of 3 bags at 70 lbs each.

I called Korean... limit is two bags, 50 pounds each max. Additional bag is $140 each way. No extra allowance for ST Elite Plus.
