I remember there was in my tax software some category such as "Unreimursed Business Expenses". Wondering if anybody has successfully claimed PLT Membership fee under this ? If so what are the Pros/cons in doing so.

It would be easier if it were an OPEN card, but not really necessary at all. If you use it strictly for personal expenses and there is no business need for having a credit card whatsover, its not a deductible expense. I've never had to deal with it myself, but I remember reading about or hearing about some IRS ruling stating that airline lounge memberships are not a deductible expense. So, if that was going to be your justification you're likely out of luck. Doesn't smell like it would pass the audit sniff test. Any business card fees though, no problem, i put them on. ttlax Dec 21, 08, 12:09 am Every time I consider putting my personal card annual fee[s] on my taxes I reconsider and then end up not doing it.
