Sounds interesting.

This is a good deal as I stated in my post. I did the math and after the second stay your getting a 5,000 point bonus per stay, plus 500pts for online reservation, 1,000pts for online checkin, as well as your 50% Gold Elite bonus. What I like is under the Radisson program, my points are based on my full and total bill, at checkout: not a per trip basis. I like to use roomservice, etc., so this can add up. So on even a low $100 total tab, you would make 2,000pts for room charges, 1,000pts Gold Elite Bonus, 1,000 Online Checkin, 500pts online reservation, & 5,000pts bonus; thus for a grand total of 9,500, for $100.00 of total charges. Thus not a bad deal with the ability to use the four day half off point award.:-::)

So, how is everyone coming on getting their 20k bonus? I hope Radisson has more bonus points promotions this year!!

I've had two stays already, Radisson Narita and Radisson SAS Olso Gardermoen, I'm not sure if I will manage 5 stays but I'll give it a go.

this 20 000 miles look a lot but in reality does not get you any free stays

You had to stay three stays in late 2008 at the Elite level. The 20,000 points are good with the half price 4 day awards.

Yeah, I received the email a week or so ago. Doesn't really interest me though as concentrating on building status in anothe chain at present.

Just stayed in my 5th property the Regent Zagreb so I wonder when they will post the points.

In the Terms and Conditions you can read the following:

• The 5,000 bonus point award will start after the check out of the second property. Subsequent stays thereafter, each at a different property, will result in another 5,000 bonus point award until the member reaches 5 different properties or 20,000 bonus points.

Although I have spent nights in 5 different properties between 1st January 2009 and now (Park Plaza London County Hall, Radisson SAS Stockholm Royal Viking, Park Inn Nürnberg, Park Inn Mainz and art’otel Potsdam) I have not received any points.

Would you please be so kind and explain the reason for this?

They always pretend that everything is in order - this is something that really peeves me. I am sure that if I hadn't written them this e-mail I would have never seen those points. The terms and conditions definitely state that the points are given peacemeal and not in one sum 4-6 weeks after the end of the promotion... :mad:

I borrowed your email to goldpoints and this is the result. 15,000 points added, I forgot I doubled up at Oslo Gardermoen but right now I'm writing this from the Radisson St Petersburg so I'll get the additional 5,000 points. As they have added these as a discretionary award I would mind betting that they will ad them again in May, Goldpoints are good at making double point mistakes in my experience.

Thanks radisson you guys just love giving points away, so apart from the extra 15,000 points they gave me when I asked why they hadn't applied the points, now they have given me 20,000 EliteAccelerator points. So now I have over 200,000 points with another 9 stays before the end of May.
