Amtrak Guest Rewards - Credit for Unused 10 trip multi ride tickets

I bought a 10-trip ticket on the NE corridor that has 2 trips remaining that I will not be using. Starting next month I will be buying a monthly pass. Is there anyway that the 2 remaining trips can be canclled and have a credit value that can applied to the monthly pass.

you probably won't get very much 'credit' the offer is based on the highest fare for the route for the parts of the trip used.

So lets say you paid $335 for the pass and the fare buckets are 28-33-35-40. You would have used $320 of a $335 pass. So you would only get $15.

that is correct, depending on the breakdown it might not be worth anything since 8 trips at the highest bucket is probably more then the 10 trip.
