InterContinental Hotels: Priority Club & Inter-Continental Ambassador - RA @ IC Houston -- Any recent experiences?

I'm going to the IC Houston between Christmas and New Year's Eve, and the most current information I could find in this forum re: RA treatment there is over a year old. Does anyone have any more recent experience as an RA at this hotel? I go once a year at this time and I have always a bad experience at checkin with no recognition of RA status AT ALL. I am hoping that this has perhaps changed.

Ditto. Big room at the end of the floor, no suite. Everything in minibar (incl food) is free. Cheese and bottle of wine for gift.

Club access is typically given to RAs, but since the club was closed due to the hurricane the week before, we were given complimentary full breakfast instead.

Overall, very nice. We will return.
