I tried Searching but the wording produced nothing, Im positive this must have been mentioned before

Won a PL Hotel in Jan for a Hilton, I know I wont get any HH credit persee but hoping to maybe get the MyWay or Lounge access. Dont need the Upgrade as its for 1 night with a very late check-in and mid morn check-out. Then maybe somehow I will end up with a stay credit.

So how does 1 go about getting the HH acct # onto the res? I doubt the Diamond desk will see the res, so do I call the Hotel and say I expect to have incedentials which should generate pts so please add my #?

Its been yrs since I last did PL and didnt win a Hotel where I had status or an acct

When you get to the hotel, show your card and ask for whatever. We were given the full deal when we had Hilton Gold at two most excellent places in Phoenix but I can't generalize. It's up to the person who checks you in. Be nice. Or you can try the $20 tip nonsense, which has been discussed ad nauseum. Your reservation cannot be altered in any way ahead of time because it is with Priceline and not Hilton. You can call the hotel and ask that they note your affiliation on the file. I did this with Omni. One benefit is if they say they have no record at all, then you can get Priceline to remind them before you arrive that you are paid-up and indeed have a room and then go nuts. I speak from experience.

I thought this may have been discussed elsewhere, but when your Priceline bid is accepted, you get a Hotel Confirmation # (which is generated by the Hotel) and a Hotel Request # (which is generated by Priceline). You might be able to log onto your HHonors account and enter the confirmation number.

I usually fax the front desk a pre-arrival request a few days before arrival asking them to note any hotel cards and other requests.

Our latest US vacation worked well, with no fewer than 4 of the 7 hotels offering us benefits outside the PL arrangement. Even points after the 'how was your stay' e-mail when I mentioned a minor problem :) (which I wouldn't have mentioned at all if it hadn't been for the tickbox questionnaire).

This has worked for me in the past.

I also call the hotel... and have had 100% success with getting them to enter the number.
