Asia - Any Asian Cities that are Inexpensive to get to from Tokyo?

I am looking at adding a different Asian city to my Japan itinerary. I would like to spend 3 days in this city and I would also like for it to be reasonably priced to get a roundtrip flight.

I had looked at Seoul, but flights are outrageous between Tokyo and Seoul.

Any other suggestions?

If you want to go to Seoul then try flying an airline like Asiana that always connect through Seoul. Then stop there on the way to or back from Japan. It might be cheaper that way.

Sorry, I didn't give enough information in the original post. The flight will be an award flight. I may use a multi-city award, but it will cost me 10,000 more miles to fly in to or out of a city outside of Japan.
