We stayed there the 12th and 13th of this month. Arrived in Bologna on the train and took the bus to the hotel...cost 1 Euro each. Had to change buses and it took 45 minutes to arrive at the hotel.
The hotel is new and very clean. The staff was great helping us with directions, etc. They had bus tickets at the front desk. We were given a fruit bowl and water in the room and breakfast. The business center has free computers and is located next to the check in counter.The breakfast was made to order and very good. Our room was a nice size with a king size adjustable mattress. The bathroom was super for an Italian one with a large shower and constant water temperature and pressure. We were impressed with this hotel and the room rate was super for Bologna. There is a restaurant, Lo Scoglio, near the hotel and the food their is good and reasonable. Highly recommend this hotel.
If you take the bus, take bus 32 (bus 33 on Sundays or holidays)from the train station to Porta Santo Stefano then switch to bus 90 which goes right to the hotel. You will see the hotel sign on the left and then the next stop around the corner is in front of the hotel. If you want to go downtown, just take bus 90 to the last stop (Piazza Cavour)and you are there. Takes about 30 minutes.
