Hilton HHonors - does the Hilton Hawaiian Village charge for 3rd/4th adults on award stays?

i booked a AXON award for 4 adults, over the phone, for the Embassy Suites Waikiki.
In the confirmation, it says, "Reward reservations are based on double occupancy. For each additional adult beyond two per room, an extra person charge of US$50 per night will apply (subject to taxes)."
was not informed of said charges when i made the booking.
Does anyone know if the Hilton Hawaiian village has a similar policy?

The "two person" wording is standard on all reward certificates, as is the provision that the certifiucate is only valid for a "standard" room. Being standard, the same provision would also apply to the HHV
If the four of you can fit (comfortably) into a "standard" room without requesting extra bedding, towels, soap, etc., etc., then you should not have a problem unless you happen to strike a rule happy check-in agent. YMMV always applies
If you insist on extrad beds, etc. then you should be prepared to fork over the additional $50.
Embassy Suites may also have some controls over the numberof breakfast.

Having just come back from HHV using the AXON award, I can tell you they did not charge me extra for a 3rd adult.

The OP asks about FOUR adults. Can you help with this very specific request?

At my last stay here I also had an AXON award and had 4 adults in my room. I was not charged the extra person fees and got a nice upgrade in the Tapa Tower. I only received 2 breakfast coupons though.

The condition is that rewards are only valid for double occupancy. However, most US hotels waive it. (I have never been charged for extra adults on an award stay.) The fact that this particular hotel has opted to waive it for a third person would be relevant.

Any recent experiences with a third adult at Embassy Suites Waikiki? Thanks.

i booked a 6 night award for sept. at the es-beach walk. i ask the diamond desk about a third adult. she put me on hold and called the property. when she came back, she said that she was told a $40. per person extra charge each night would apply.

I can't help the OP, but I want to get nit-picky:
If I recall, HH members are allowed to have the second adult rate waived for a spouse. Would that apply to an award booking if one of 2 (or more) other guests were a spouse?

During our September ES Waikiki stay we were given 2 breakfast passes and 2 manager's reception passes that were dated with the length of our stay... not sure if they would give you more without imposing a fee, but you could always go in shifts of 2 using the same passes.
