Hi pals!!!
Any experiences renting a Cadillac Escalade or Lincoln Navigator this year from the Prestige Collection???
I understand Hertz rents the Escalade AWD and the Navigator 4WD, but I'd like to know if they've got some options... ;) (for example the 22 rims in the Escalade)
Any comment, experience or ride report will be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Sergio :)

I've rented both and while some are fully loaded (with the optional rims) some are not. Either way, they almost every option except for the navigation.

The last Escalade I rented was equipped with most of the major options, just no Navigation or Rear Entertainment System.
The one before had Navigation and Rear Entertainment among the other options.
Equipment definately varies.

The last Caddy I had had factory nav. They have NL so unless they left the DVD in the car for you, you just have a big screen to say what you are listening to.
I have never seen one with upgraded rims or the DVD. I rarely see the nav screen in them when I pass them buy...

The 2009 Escalade has standard factory navigation.

That's good to know! My last rental had the nav screen (no dvd), but it was still cool to have that screen.

If you know where the "Do Not Remove" Bag is, then that is where the DVD for the Escalade's Navi is. But of course Hertz thinks that everyone is going to steal the DVD's so they are hidden... but always in the vehicle...
