Las Vegas - Rental car in LV when ALMOST 25?

Hey.

I'll turn 25 on the 15th of January, and I'll be renting a car to drive to Los Angeles on the 2nd of January.. Do you guys think that Hertz might give in to that fact and give me a rate that excludes me from the $27 extra per day?

Not likely. You might want to try one of the smaller rental companies, they might bend the rules a little for you. Suggest, however, you keep your Hertz reservation even if one says they will do it.

Years ago, Dollar exempted Student Advantage members from the under 25 surcharge; I kept the membership until I turned 25 due to that benefit. Of course, that's been a few years.

Always book in advance, check rates weekly, and cancel/rebook when they go down!
