So I've opened up the .pdf of terms and conditions, browsed the FAQ's on the website, and haven't found a concrete answer: do CP points expire? If yes, how long do I have to use them? Will they stay valid if I make a Choice stay? Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see the details published anywhere. Thanks!

"Choice Privileges points expire on December 31, two years after the year in which they were deposited into your account unless forfeited or canceled earlier due to membership inactivity or otherwise in accordance to these rules and regulations."
"If you have no activity for a period of 18 consecutive months, Choice may remove you from the Program and therefore terminate your account. If Choice removes you from the Program, you will forfeit your points."

Activity is easy to generate, as you can book an award stay and then cancel it before that stay's cancelation deadline to get all points back.

I guess that says it all. You can however see if you have expiring points after you log in to your account. Go to stay activity and then hit current activity in the drop down box. It will tell you how many points you have expiring.
