I was browsing when I saw this promotional airfare offered by KLM to Europe from SE Asia through expedia. When checking the final details, "im sorry , the price has changed.It became 950 from 600 usd.clik back, click again, it goes to 600usd, when i click to book it, it goes to 950usd. I gave up. The following day, I checked the same flight, this time , the system shows a lot of choices , with different timings on same price, 600 usd, when i try to book one of them, it goes to 950 usd. I kinda like a mad clicking and clicking over again, and always see that "the price has been changed to 950 usd. I called thier customer service,I was told, the KLM might not yet update thier system, but I told them its been a week, and said they cannot do anything.
What is this? is this a marketing ploy? I dont believe that KLM was not able to update thier system for whole week, but why is Expedia is not updating its own system? why on earth the 600 usd return trip is still in their website?I tried all the dates , all european routes, all combinations,but "the price has changed."......and this is not only today, it has been like this for whole week since ive been checking every holyhour of the day.Im contemplating on banning expedia on my browser so that I cannot see again that cheap 600 usd airfare that im dying to get. for that airfare, i can save 1500 usd for all of us (4 peeps going to europe for first time). 1500 usd can get us somewhere in Prague i reckon.
