Just received the following e-mail from Etihad:

Our new home at AUH Terminal 3 will start phased operations from 15th December. From this date select flights will operate from the new terminal...

Amen! Hopefully the excellent EY in-flight experience will finally be matched on the ground at AUH; as opposed to the current 'every man for himself' state of affairs.

Any idea which will be the first flights to operate out of Terminal 3? Is there any schedule for migration into T3?

EY did nothing to promote the new T3 at AUH...unlike EK!

I'm flying to AUH on EY at the end of March will all flights by then be using T3 and if so will T3 be fully functional by then?

Have any flights started to operate in T3 yet? Their website hasn't been updated with the cities.

T3 isn't open yet. According to Etihad limo staff it will be open in 5 days (around 22nd Jan) but I don't know how reliable that it. If true it will just be open on my return trip to MAN, so that will be interesting to see.
