Hilton HHonors - eRewards offering 500 free HHonors Bonus points: Possibly Targeted

Hi all!

I just now came across an offer on eRewards that credits you with 500 HHonors Bonus points for free. It wasn't included in the Current Opportunities on the home page and I accidentally found it while perusing the Reward Center.

Click the Rewards link at the top of the home page, then choose Hilton Honors from the list of sponsors. The next page will show you the HHonors rewards you can earn, mine included the free Bonus Points first on the list. All I had to do was enter my HHonors account number and confirm my mailing address. I received an email almost immediately stating:

"Your Hilton HHonors(R) account has been credited with 500 points."

I can already see it in my account, less than an hour after redemption :)

Darn, only $25/50/75/100 redemption opportunities for me.

I just redeemed $100 for 7,000 HH points yesterday. That showed up in under 24 hours. I do not recall seeing the link and if it was there yesterday, it's gone now. :(

No such offer for the accounts I maintain for me, my wife or my mother.

Did you sign up for eRewards not too long ago? It's probably your signup bonus from the Hilton offer which you had not claimed before.

I guess the OP got this some time ago:

"Dear USAFAN,

As a Hilton HHonors member, you’re invited to earn valuable Rewards, including HHonors bonus points, just for participating in surveys that are selected to match your interests.

Enroll today and receive 500 Hilton HHonors bonus points if you complete your first survey by December 15, 2008."

Was able to do it about an hour ago. Amount redeemed was $0.00 and points showed i my Hhonors acct. immediatly.

If I am not a member of eRewards, do you know how can I get an invitation to join and get that bonus?

I don't think you need an invitation.

No love here, probably because I've already been milking erewards points for a few years.

Nothing in my account, or in Mr. Kipper's account. :(

I found the 500 HHonors e-rewards by chance.

Also got the $100 for 7,000 pts. Probably best deal yet from them!

Been with them for a couple of years to top up my KLM points, not too many surveys coming through at the moment though

I used to get a lot of surveys from them but lately they have dried up. I am not sure if they have some kind of system where they try to limit how much in credit you get, or if it is just pure coincidence.

I didn't see the bonus either - but I did convert $100 to 7,000 points a few weeks ago. And what I liked, considering almost all the things you can do with eRewards dollars are BS (get a $25 coupon for eBags, go to the website and find they offer the same thing plus no shipping etc) is that you can do it every 3 months! I had quit doing surveys because it was silly to acquire more $$ when you couldn't do anything with it. Now I have a reason :-)
