Just tried it for a forthcoming stay.

The promoted rate for Kauai was $189 versus my currently booked AAA rate of $179.

When I actually tried to book, the H9 rate was not available for my dates in late January--supposedly a slower time.

So much for the promo!!!

No availability for a mid-January stay at HHV or Prince Kuhio. Coupon rate at the ES was more than the standard advance purchase rate. Big thumbs down for this "promotion".
