Hi - Anyone know if OZ allows F lounge access when arriving on OZ F connecting (within 2 hours) to OZ C. On the second flight there is no F sold, just C & Y. Thanks.

Matthew_DC I hope you can wrangle OZ F.
I'm not optimistic, unless you can get something in writing to support your case.

OZ C lounge has an interesting library theme but the food options are dismal (think terrible white bread sandwiches, ramen instant noodle packs and little else). JW Black was the only half decent drink.

I can tell you I did get knocked back by FAs on some requests that would be OK if our flight was the 3-class flight (e.g. Pyjamas at night) but which were knocked back because there was no F option on the ICN-HKG flight.

Is there a way you can book the F flight orr an alternative F flight, in order to get F lounge access?

OZ C is easily beaten by other *A C options, aside from the very, very attentive service. That's all OZ has going for it on some of the ancient B74M flights like ICN-HKG.

(Just my experience; probably worlds better on newer aircraft and on F! :p)

It's ICN>NRT so it's OZ, UA or NH. There is UA F availability. Does that qualify for OZ F lounge? I'm not really bothered since it's such a short layover but I was interested to see it.

Even if the night flight ICN-HKG has 3 class, there still would have no PJ, that is only for long haul, like ICN to Europe or US.

You know even in OZ F lounge, the shower room is unlike any other *A with designer brand products. Just like BA use molton brown, NH F in NRT has loccitane, and even NRT RCC has H20. OZ F shower just have big bottles with common household brands. I hope it will be different when I visit next month.

OZ F qualifies for OZ F lounge. In fact, it's such a short flight that if you eat in the lounge, you don't have to "risk" the UA F food at all!

I'm not at all clear on the answer to the OP's question. I also have a similar situation soon: JFK-ICN in F, connecting to ICN-PEK in C, all on OZ.

Will I have access to the F lounge, or only the C lounge?

Similar to wideman, I too am booked JFK-ICN OZ F then ICN-SIN SQ F. I know that there is no longer a SQ lounge so hope that OZ F Lounge is good. Also I arrive at 04:10 and connect @ 09:00.:(
I It sounds like they try and "push" you towards the boarding gate lounge ( no F) which does not open until 06:00 rather then the main lounge @ gate 42 (with F) since I connect on a *A carrier not OZ.

Yes, this is what I heard as well.
