I have to travel between DXB and BOM during December and wondered what flights are operated by the 747-400. When I check at cx.com it says EQV.

Does anybody know which flight number is operated by the 747 please?

Also, will it have full intercontinental First seating on it?

Thanks in advance,

Both flights are operated by 74B aircraft, and yes, it will have the new long haul product.

If its a 744 it will have long-haul First, but there are still a few planes around with the old version.

Looking at Expertflyer, all the direct flights seem to be on a 747. The V bit may be that some are 744 (old products) and some 74A (new products).

Both flights are operated by 74B aircraftWhat are they? I'm only familiar with 744, 74J (now all converted it seems) and 74A.

I flew on that route DXB-BOM-HKG on Dec 4 and it was the 747 with the new products in FIRST and BUSINESS classes. It was a wonderful experience as I flew in FIRST and the seat is amazing... However we were late 1 hour on departure from DXB

I assume this must a typo error. As pointed out by christep, there is no such thing as a 74B code for aircraft layout today. 74B used to be the code several years ago to refer to the standard 747 layout and to differentiate if from the extra J seats on the 74J configuration. But CX has not used 74B for quite a while now.
