(From Fatwallet). Both are Core2Duo 12" Thinkpad machines, both are 50% off. Hottest deals I've ever seen on a Lenovo Ultra portable.

Wow. I wonder if ultraportable sales have dropped due to the increasing popularity of netbooks.

The coupon doesn't seem to work. I get a message saying "Coupon not valid for current shopping cart". I've tried two browsers.

Fatwallet forum says the deal is dead. Would've bought an X61s at that price...

They made graphics that said 50%, maybe they didn't think many would go for this with a down economy or something.

I've had an eye on Lenovo deals for some time, and these 2 were the hottest I've ever seen from them.

BY "every day", I meant every day this WEEK. Indeed, these are some of the best deals I have ever seen on these models.

The X61t, is indeed an outdated model now replaced by the X200t, and the X61 is too, but it still has a place and is still a great model - we have two in the family. There are no models in these form factors that are cheaper or NEAR by 2x.

Last year, I paid 675$ for a tricked out X61, and 1200$ for a tricked out X61t, with docks and everything, but that deal was work and hope. But, it worked out.

I hope they come up with a smoking deal on the S10, I need another one here :D

I hope they get confused and do a deal on the X200 and or X300, and possibly the tablet, since even though I just bought a last series MBP, I NEEEEEEED one of these new baby thinkpads.

There's an overall discount code of USP48HOURSDEC10 available even on machines that aren't mentioned in any of the four-hour daily sales. It's about a 15% discount. I can configure a T500 with it.

Looks like they're running a 25% off deal from 3-6pm ET today on the X61s. So just under $800 for the base spec, still a good deal, I'm tempted.
