I think the title pretty much says it all but to those of you who use it, would you say its worth the $40/yr? Thanks.

They have made many of the "premium" features from FM available for free. They also have a tool now that will import your FM entries so you don't have to re-enter everything. Definitely worth looking at. You can click the link in my sig if you want to see what a somewhat populated account looks like. mizzou miles Dec 6, 08, 10:10 am You can try it for two months for $7.95 - a pretty small investment to see if you like it! redbeard911 Dec 6, 08, 11:27 am I've been premium since it was introduced and love it. I like the interface and display better than OpenFlights. hfly Dec 7, 08, 9:07 am This thread inspired me to try it out, I tried importing two pages but have given up. Not only does it not recognize many airports, but the process for entering them is extemely difficult. martona Dec 7, 08, 12:41 pm OpenFlights is promising, and the developer is very enthusiastic: FlightMemory import was broken and he fixed it within a couple of hours after I emailed him. The only thing that I take issue with is that there's no info on privacy/data protection/t&c. If I use a service that stores pretty personal information I - for example - wouldn't mind knowing they're going to keep it confidential. I'm sure he has no malicious intentions, but either way, I'm just a little bit uneasy. |
