Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - CX, oneworld, and the potential BA/QF tieup

Hi all, been lurking in the CX forum for a while. I came across the news that BA and QF are thinking of merging, which would lead me to think, what role would CX play, as they are geographically in between their 2 OW partners?

I can't see it making a big difference IMHO

I think CX will not suffer from that merger if it is to be completed. CX has a different customer base and different fare structure on the kangaroo route that they have not change it or adjust it for long time.

I beleive SQ will be most affected by the merger followed by EK and TG.
