Does Hilton allow 3rd party booking?

Mrs. Shark is going to the UK this spring and I would like to book her into some nicer places rather than spend money on dumpy places. Can I book a room for her and use my points to pay, if I am not there to check-in?

I was able to do this for my Mother and Father back in May.

I just made it clear to the Diamond desk agent at the time that I wasnt part of the booking myself. All they needed to do was take a copy of the reward cert/booking confirmation with them.

You have to do this on the phone, it can not be booked on line (if ithe room is not for you). No problem, just call.
Now other people may have a better idea since she is your spouse. If it is important to you for her to get you bene's, then you may want your name also on the reservation.

When wife checks in she will need a printed copy of the certificate (not just the printed reservation).

I have booked rooms for several relatives/friends and discovered that some hotels will now allow the guest to check in with the certificate in the name of the HH member. The Honors desk can issue the certificate in the name of the guest to avoid any issues.
