Midwest - MSP area limo/car service/taxi advice please

Does anyone who lives in the Twin CIties (or travels there frequently) have a suggestion for a car service.

I need occasional one-way service to/from MSP and my home in Anoka. I have found a few limo services that cost about the same price as a taxi to/from the airport.

If you have had luck with any given company or know a particular driver that will book trips directly, I'd appreciate your input.

Kudos and horror stories appreciated too.

After having a couple of scary experiences in which cabs and shuttle vans failed to show up at my place until the last possible minute, and an exasperating experience with a shuttle dispatcher who mistook the name of my street for the name of a downtown hotel, I switched to taking the bus to downtown Minneapolis and then hopping onto the light rail.

The advantage is that the bus is largely predictable. I can leave home as early as 5:00AM and come back as late as midnight. (And no, I'm not scared to take transit at night. I'm more frightened of erratic drivers when I'm in my car.)

I don't know how bus service to downtown Minneapolis from Anoka is, but it's dependable and cheap.
