Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - JFK-YVR discount fare over?

Looking at the Cathay US site, the JFK-YVR economy fare deal that has been going on for some time is advertised on the front page, but when I click through, says that "This fare has expired or is unavailable," and tickets JFK-YVR are listed at $666-$1066. Has the promotion finally come to an end, even though it's still featured?

You likely have selected a dates when most of the lower booking classes have been sold out. If you do some random pricing on some other dates, you can still get a fare of about $465 USD inclusive of charges/taxes under "L" class. I did some dummy bookings by playing around on several dates and that fare showed up.

was updated today, and now shows January 3 and onward booking dates for the fare. It seems L-class was zeroed out for the month of December (holiday bookings?) because it was always exceedingly easy to book this fare up to the day before travel except on the most popular dates of travel and there was absolutely no availability for the entire month. The special fare page promoting the fare still shows the old rules (availability until 14 Jan 09), but there is no availability until after January 3, 2009.

Thank you very much, my partner lives in YVR and that flight is a lifesaver when one is flying JFK-YVR 2-3 times monthly.
