Recent change in OZ's FF program was impressive, and getting Diamond Plus is attractive and quite doable in contrast to MC premium.

If I was at NYC, SEA, LAX, SFO, or ORD, I would just fly OZ.
But here at IAD, I had better fly KE when I fly home (3 times a year).

Any plan or even rumor anybody aware of?

Why don't you fly IAD-JFK on United and then JFK-ICN on OZ?

or IAD-ORD works too... probably you don't wanna stay on E- to the west coast.

International->domestic transfers are a pain in the US.

Plus, IAD-JFK involves a good risk of a misconnection (or a long connection time), and involves a terminal change and a visit to the TSA theater at JFK.

If I want to depart from JFK, I would rather drive to JFK.

However, driving is also painful.
