Budget - Parking ticket, I appealed it, Budget paid it, ticket was canceled...

...Now what?

I sent my letter appeal with the ticket itself to Boston Traffic (Parking) Department. It truly was not legitimate. Budget was notified of the ticket. Budget paid it and charged me for it, along with their fee. (And sent me a "bad dog" letter.) Then I received notice that it was canceled without a hearing by BTD.

Would anyone have a suggestion as to how to untie this? It's about $80, "a/i". Thank you.

Get written proof that the ticket was cancelled by BTD (if you don't have this already) and then get in touch with someone at the location and send them the info. That should be enough for them to reverse the charge seeing as they'll get a refund from BTD. Good luck!

I would also send all that information via registered mail to budget corport office to maybe get the refund done quicker.

That's a possible route too. My worry would be that the ticket info is on file at the Boston location, so going corporate would just add an extra step of them having contact with Boston and paperwork going each direction. Call BOS and see what they advise.
