Asiana Club - Award seats in C on ICN-HKT (Phuket)
The ANA award tool seems to show that OZ releases only one award seat in C per flight between ICN and HKT (Phuket). Does anyone here have any experiences as to whether OZ opens a second seat in C after the first one is booked (like SQ has been said to do for F awards sometimes)?

I just flew HKT - ICN in OZ C-Class with my S/A (Nov. 02). There are only 15 C seats in their 767. The seats are electronically controlled with 17 inch monitors built into the shell seat in front of you. Service was excellent. We were able to use my S/A 's UMP account and had no problems getting two C-seats. I would imagine it depends on the time of year to get two seats, since 'High Season' in Phuket runs from 11/01 through 03/31. When we booked 7 months out there were no more C-Class award seats available until three weeks prior to departure. Then mysteriously another two seats in C-Class opened up. On our actual flight we had 5 C-Class seats open. Phuket is not a business but rather vacation destination with many families flying in from South Korea. Go for the one seat and hope for the best. Enjoy Asiana...;)

My partner and I are flying HKT-ICN on OZ in C class on Dec. 8 using award seats booked through UA. We booked the two seats back in February, I think, but I can't honestly remember now. There didn't seem to be any trouble booking it, and although I haven't called to re-confirm, OZ gave us seat assignments so all is set.
