how easy of a transfer is it between these two airports? Apparently I have to use GMP in order to fly into USN.

Very easy. Take the direct train if you have little luggage (marginally faster and cheaper), or a direct limousine bus if you have lots (less walking needed). Both take about half an hour.

thanks. I'll look into the train as I plan to be traveling light.

Call the airline CS and ask if they could transfer the luggages to Gimpo.
I am not sure, but I beleive they did before.

We'll probably be switching to a new itinerary, UA to ICN and OZ for the domestic out of GMP.

We'll be traveling very light so I think the train will work fine.

thanks everyone for your input!

Though they do the other way around, no baggage transfer from ICN to GMP. Asiana would do baggage transfer only if pax purchases a shuttle ticket from a particular company while Korean Air would do for any pax from GMP to ICN AFAIK.

Hey you FTers.
Did this transit last night.
Easy Peasy Lemon Squeazy!

Arrived GMP from HND at 19:00.
I was first off the plane which was nice. Sitting up front helps. ;)
1 immigration line for foreigners but the diplomatic/crew was taking people off the front of the line foreigner line when not occupied.
Bags were first two off as well.
Arrivals hall wasn't too large. Relatively uncrowded.
Asked the info desk about train or bus. I could see the buses from where I was standing so that was my choice.
Info lady said 3000 KOW, she said didn't take other currency or credit. I was hoping for something like NRT where the ticket would take credit.
Walked I've to currency exchange window and handed them a $20.
Got a couple hundred thousand in return and headed outside.
Not sure of my pickup stop number, I looked a bit and noticed that stop 7 was marked clearly Incheon Airport. I was at the intl arrivals terminal.
Then a ticket guy with a red "i" ok yellow patch asked if I was going to the airport, and sold me a ticket for 6500 not the original 3000 quoted by the desk but he said it was the Limo bus and the price was printed on the ticket.
Bus was there a coue seconds later and after a drive by at the domestic terminal we were on the expressway by 720. Arrived ICN nonstop in a spacious business class seat bus in 30 min.
Just as efficient as an HND-NRT transit in Tokyo at 1/6 the price and 1/3 the time in a much nicer seat. ;)
Walked inside to the info desk, called my transit hotel for me. Was picked up within 10 min and checked in to Incheon Airport Hotel Queen before 20:30.
Basically 90 min from landing to checkin.
