Hello all,
a friend has asked for help in finding an amazing suite for a party of around 100-150 people.
This will be a late night party,so someplace that is cool with party people

They have done the Palms.And Last year it was at the Absoulte suite at Caesers-It was amazing and amazingly expensive at $8,500 a night(but really price is a very secondary consideration here)

Some considerations in the fire,and please chip in If you have attended functions in a private suite in one of these venues

Hard Rock Hotel

Planet Hollywood

Rio

Golden Nugget(I know they have some amazing huge suite here-but not sure how cool they would be with a late night bash)

Any other ideas?

Well,

Hard Rock Penthouse (http://www.hardrockhotel.com/las-vegas/hotel/penthouse/) with the bowling alley is pretty cool. :cool::cool:

The Hard Rock Hotel penthouse is part showpiece, part refuge and all aphrodisiac. This signature accommodation of the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino compromises of three luxurious bedrooms, three spectacular bathrooms including a mosaic hot tub with a view of the Las Vegas Strip. When not entertaining in the bedroom, a dining room with seating for 12 offers the residents and guests an area for intimate catered affairs. After dining, you and your guests can kick back in the penthouse's lounge complete with a fully stocked bar, pool table and flat panel TVs. Adding to all of this is the singular showpiece of Vegas penthouse experience: A single-lane automated bowling alley. Located on the 11th floor, the Penthouse welcomes any occupant who sees their stay as something beyond ordinary.

Also, as you know, LOTS of options at the Palms.

edit to add : This suite @ the HR might be too small, though, it "might" have connecting expansion options.

Rio

Not much there, except (well, the Palazzo RIO Villas are quite impressive, but still not as impressive as recent additions to the Vegas Villa scene)

But, there is a penthouse @ the TOP of RIO that connects directly to VooDoo Lounge. Probably could grab some of the VooDoo space, or possibly rent out most of VooDoo for the event/party.

Another thought, maybe a Mansion Villa @ MGM [LINK] (http://www.unusualvillarentals.com/us/lasvegas/mgm/index.shtml) and [LINK] (http://www.forbes.com/2003/03/27/cx_jp_0327dow.html) -- that would be pretty unique, and has a bit of prestige factor... though, not really sure how that would work as a party suite. I tend to think of sweeping views and high floors, when I think cocktail party entertaining. :cool:

Don't think it will hold up to 150 people but the Four Seasons 180 degree suites have killer views.

One more thought,

The Sky Villas @ the Las Vegas Hilton (approx. 15,000 sq/ft) are also a pretty cool option. They are Villas... but, also have incredible views.

One is profiled in this segment (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZIqPYvqk_q8) by Louis Theroux.

On the 30th floor of the Las Vegas Hilton is an elaborate foyer that looks like the unholy union of the Palace of Versailles and the Oval Office. It was my first clue about the scale of the Sky Villas behind the three doors.

The Verona Sky Villa, the biggest suite in Las Vegas, is the Hearst Castle of accommodations: 15,400 square feet of Italian marble floors, hand-painted ceilings, gilded molding, bronze and marble statues and more Old World Venice furniture and decor than in an entire wing of the nearby Venetian hotel.

During a private tour with Ira David Sternberg, the hotel's PR guru, I was dumbstruck by the scale and grandeur. The minibar is bigger than most Irish pubs, the hot tub is designed as a sacred shrine and the number (and position) of shower heads in the master bath would challenge a mathematician. The suite surrounds a private garden and pool.

Verona is flanked by the Tuscany and Conrad villas (as in Hilton's founder), which at 13,200 square feet and 12,600 square feet, respectively, are the second- and third-largest suites in the city. (Portions of Tuscany and Verona sit on what was Elvis' fabled digs.) The Hilton Sky Villas, though, are old school: blessed with almost unimaginable size and classic European style, not widely advertised and, Sternberg said, almost entirely geared toward high rollers.

"These are the people who are playing with a lot of money -- $500,000 to a million dollars," he said. "We can always rent the villas suites out" -- for a mere $17,500 a night -- "but the player will always get precedence."

Standing in the sprawling living room, I imagined that a night in Verona would encompass lying on the oversized couch, watching the oversized TV and oversized fireplace, while trying to choose between going right to the oversized bed or inviting nine of your closest friends up to take an oversized shower first.

Even the elevator back to the lobby is in character, with framed art, mirrors and a red-velvet padded loveseat for the 30-story ride.

if booking mansion, make sure to book via amex plat/cent. >
$250 per day food and beverage credit, a $250 per day spa credit, and complimentary tickets to one Cirque du Soleil show of your choice, as well as a limousine for round-trip airport transportation and transfer service within five miles.

thinking about it more, maybe they wouldnt allow it at mansion?

* hilton/caesars - private pools
* palms - newer

Generally speaking, parties are allowed in specific room types if you book through "convention sales and marketing" or a department with a similar name. But then they'll probably hit you with a catering bill that costs more than the room itself.

Some good suggestions already. Consider, also, one of the Skylofts with a balcony. Last I heard they were still in the old school penthouse style but were scheduled to be renovated. Plus, I think they'd be significantly more lax about a party in that room than at The Mansion.
