Borgata has extended their 5x Slot Dollars Promotion (http://www.theborgata.com/Main.cfm?Category_1=3000&Category_2=3200&Category_3=3213&PromoID=9FD006A1-A848-D691-6A489A55983A5BCA).
It's always nice to see promotions that can be accessed by all (and new) players. I'm going to guess they will probably keep extending this promotion, due to the overall lousy economic situation at Atlantic City Casinos.
Since I tend not to play at Borgata, some friends provided their analysis of this promotion based on a few assumptions. This analysis is based on full pay 9/6 JoB play, at the 25cent level.
If you put $10K through at JoB, at .10% C/B (cash-back) rate you'd get $10 in C/B. But with 5x you'd get $50, which would make the total C/B = .5%, added to the base game of 99.54% for JoB and you'd basically be break even = 100.04%, plus you get an additional .20% to .30% comp rate, which can be used for food etc. at Borgata.
Some have also reported a .8% total C/B rate but at playing mostly 50c and higher denomination games.
Either way, it's a nice atmosphere, and some good games [video poker] at low and high denominations; which makes this a decent opportunity for players with small or large bankrolls. :cool:
