Asia - Multi-Room Suite, Penang

Hi All,

What started out as my wife and I heading back to Penang in March 09 (18-28 March) for some R&R has turned into a mammoth effort, with me having been appointed to be Tour Director for us, my parents, and my inlaws.

I assume that it will be cheaper to get 3 Rooms for us to stay in, but wondering if anyone knows of any hotels that offer a suite that sleeps six in three separate bedrooms.

I'm not fussy what part of the island we stay, if there's a large room available.

The Vistana hotel in Penang has 3 bedroom apartments available - more details can be found at http://www.asiarooms.com/malaysia/penang/vistana_hotel_&_residences.html amongst other places. I'm sure there's more serviced apartments around the island that would have 3 bedroom options, though most seem to have a maximum of 2 bedrooms unfortunately.

The old Shangri La now the Golden Sands, used to have suites on the ends of each floor with connecting rooms, worth a try, right on the beach at Batufaranghi (wrong spelling), nowadays a problem with no bacon if you like that sort of breakfsat and there are a lot of children, otherwise Penang Rooms will find you something, there's no shortage, regards bkkrop
