Travel Technology - blackberry pearl has problem scrolling down

My trackball on my blackberry pearl has problems scrolling down.

I was hoping to keep my phone alive for a few more months...your suggestions would be appreciated.

If you have a provider that issues SIM cards - I only know of one major U.S. company that does not - you could purchase another Blackberry via eBay or such . . .

The "down" trackball roller is dirty. If you have a modicum of manual dexterity you can clean it yourself.

Be very careful with that flimsy metal retaining ring inside - very easy to bend, and bending it will leave you with a nonfunctional Blackberry.
