Asia - opportunity to work at ICN but where'a best to live/commute from

Looking for some advice from a long term resident of Korea/Incheon. I am pondering the posibility of a 1year placement in Korea working at ICN Airport. Can anyone let me know what residential areas would be best to live in? I'm not a great fan of commuting so was thinking somewhere up to 1hr commute from ICN?

There are some pretty soulless apartment block clusters right on Yeongjongdo (the airport island), but you'd need your own wheels. For public transport, anywhere along the train line from ICN, eg. northern/eastern bits of Incheon City up to the area around Gimpo Airport, would be pretty obvious. Come January 2010, you can even zip into central Seoul in 45 min.
