Check out www.savevid.com (http://www.savevid.com) and www.keepvid.com (http://www.keepvid.com). You can easily download YouTube videos into mp4 files using either of these. Happy streaming..:)

If you use Firefox the Downloadhelper plugin allows you to capture and convert YouTube and other FLV based streaming video. You could also use Any Video Converter, which has a free and paid version.

Find it in the Activity Window and double click it. It's usually the only element over a couple MB.

Or if you have Safari and Safari Stand (free): Command + Click on the video.

If you want a MP4 version, add &fmt=18 to the URL, then download. You can also bookmark javascript:window.location+="&fmt=18"; then Command + Click as usual.

On a PC, using IE, go to tools/internet options/browser history settings/view files.
sort the list by last modified or size and you'll see it.
Copy, then paste to whatever folder you wish to store it in.

There are lots of viewers available; I use riva, it's a free download but doesn't have lots of options in view size, etc.
