I will be traveling to and from Saudi Arabia again, and most likely flying Saudia from Washington
I have not flown internationally since early 90's and am green on all the technical stuff I need to know.
I will travel with my Dell Inspiration Lap Top, and my multi region portable DVD player (Toshiba)
I need to know what is recommended to keep my dvd player from running on the only battery I have, last 2 hours at most. I could buy another for $69.00 but need to know if which are the best gadgets to use to plug into the outlets on the plane, I think it is a 747, once I get my reservation, I will know.
Also, I plan on buying that mobal world phone for $49 to use until I see if I will continue the job in SA. I read about this on one of your forums.
Any info will be appreciated. By the way, I am use to flying Saudia, I lived in Arabia for 5 years, but that was in 80's and early 90's

The answer to your question depends all on what class of service you are in and what airline you are on. Some have normal plugs others have the empower plugs some, none. A good place to look is seatguru.com too, they seem to have one of the most comprehensive list of seat configurations and writeups.
