Nov. 6 (Bloomberg) -- Las Vegas Sands Corp., billionaire Sheldon Adelson's casino company, fell the most in New York trading since went public after saying it may default on debt and face bankruptcy.

I wouldn't worry about it, casinos (airlines etc. etc.) operate under bankruptcy protection all the time. Just ask Mr. Trump, he's managed to operate casinos for years; in and out of bankruptcy. :p:p

I agree. Lots of examples of casinos who've operated under bankruptcy protection. No back up reservation needed... the Venetian and Palazzo will be there when you arrive. :D
FWIW, I follow Las Vegas Sands (the hotel's parent company) closely and I am very doubtful they will file ch. 11. In fact, the wires had a story tonight, after the markets closed, that an inside source says financing news will be announced next week. Probably no coincidence that on Dec 1 they are getting a new CFO as well.
