Hilton HHonors - Asking for Upgrade???

What's your thoughts on best way to request upgrade? I'm a diamond wishing to get into a suite at HGI. Taking family and extra room would be nice..

Call diamond desk? Email diamond help desk? Call hotel? Call hotel mgr?

I've had good success by leaving a message that an upgrade would be much appreciated in the online reservation notes.

If that hasn't worked, showing my Diamond card when I check-in is the last resort.

So what you're saying is that upon hitting Diamond status, they should not issue us plastic-cards, but 10 year olds? There's something for the next HHonors customer survey.....

No, what he is saying is that Hilton Diamond status is not as much as it is said to be!

Very unfortunate as SPG treats its best customers, its Platinums, far better! I have had very very very few suite u/gs with Hilton since I became a Diamond.
