I am a British passport holder. I applied online back in May for my ETA and it was granted. I was just checking out the immigration site and see now that EU passport holders have to now apply for eVisitor. If I already have a valid ETA do I need to apply for the eVisitor too?

EDIT:
Just answered my own question from a pdf
http://www.immi.gov.au/visitors/tourist/evisitor/_pdf/faqs-for-evisitor.pdf

Do I need an eVisitor if I currently hold an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) and
am planning on travelling to Australia after 27 October 2008?
The introduction of eVisitor does not affect the validity of other visas held by visitors to Australia. If you hold a
valid ETA you can still use that to travel to Australia after 27 October 2008.

Site for E-visitor

https://www.ecom.immi.gov.au/visas/app/uu?form=TV

It's also free to apply.

Looks like citizens and passport bearers of the E.U. countries + Andorra, Norway, Iceland, Monaco, Liechtenstein, San Marino, and the Vatican/Holy See eligible.

What's the point of having the eVisitor and ETA program at the same time?
The fee? Only having one type of eVisitor (as opposed to two types of short-term ETAs)?
