Any bargains to be had at duty free in Incheon due to the huge devaluation of the won to the dollar? I was going to buy a new SLR camera in the US but if the prices have collapsed at DFS in ICN I might wait until I'm there in January.

I could be wrong but I remember always seeing prices specifically on watches and other pricey items in dollars, not won. Which makes sense as most products sold in duty free are probably purchased in dollars or euros.

Just one data point to consider.

I'm not a big duty free shopper, but what little I bought at ICN duty free stores was priced in USD. There may be some duty free stores that price in KRW, though.

If you buy downtown, you'll be priced in KRW... can actually be rather good deal. Looking forward to some shopping in Seoul in 10 days :)

I'm going to Seoul in 2 weeks and will go won-kers. Already have an electronic wishlist, will pick up several pairs of prescriptions glasses (sun and driving) and will eat kalbi until I burst.

I'm interested in any 'deals' at shops priced in KRW in ICN.
Are there any places just a walk from the airport? Hoping for a smartphone deal...
