Emirates Skywards - Partnership with Virgin Blue (DJ)

Not sure how this went unnoticed. From 1 December we'd able to earn and redeem miles on Virgin Blue.

Mmm..good news for those based down under and a clever way of EK assuring themselves of these people's future loyalty and give it a competitive advantage over other airlines.

Thanks for the information. Redemption rates are similar to Qantas. And miles from SPG can be transferred into Skywards, but not into Velocity Rewards.

Strange that you can only redeem on Virgin Blue and not Pacific Blue to New Zealand or Pacific Islands.
