As of 26th October 2008 Asiana has moved from the B counters at SYD to the H counters. With this change, Asiana is now also using the NZ lounge and is not using the Qantas Club anymore.

Asiana has been awarded for its great 'soft product' customer service, something obvious fromt the links below.

Brilliant idea! Partner and I are flying OZ C class LHR/ICN/SYD in 3 weeks time as part of a BD award with onward connection SYD/CHC with NZ. Have a day in SYD due to original lack of minimum connect time to the morning NZ flight to CHC but glad for the break to head into the city (Manly for lunch!).

Happy to post menu's and give feedback once we return to LON end of Nov.

An excellent TR from G-BOAC here (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=756045) maybe useful, I have added some comments to the TR thread as I flew LHR-ICN-SYD earlier this year.

Worked the best to get us to CHC. On our return we're NZ AKL/PVG in C and then LX F PVG/ZRH connecting LX C onto LHR. All for C class award points as the longest sector is C :-)

Has anyone compiled a list (with mileage) of all OZ F longhaul & shorthaul Intl flights?
It might be useful for some of us for a few purposes. :)

tell me what C class lounges they use in CDG and also if they have an arrivals lounge? I'm travelling AKL-SYD-SEL-CDG-SEL-SYD-AKL in C class so will be in need of a shower before I get my connecting flight to DUB!

Hi Jet-Set Jen and welcome to FT and the friendly OZ forum!

The Asiana website gives some good information about lounges:

Select "Europe" to get more information about the CDG lounge. Unfortunately this is not an arrivals lounge even so it is landside. But IIRC there are shower facilities at CDG.
The shower at ICN is quite nice so you can have one half way. But I guess the lounge shower is not that important there since you are staying at a hotel in Seoul/ICN anyway.

Excellent, thanks for the info and the useful link. Shame there's no arrivals lounge..guess I'll just have to have a good shower at the STPC hotel in SEL.
