I wonder if the regulars here can answer the following:

1) Are all of the A330's that operate on the LHR and LGW routes equipped with QR's most recent J class product?

2) DOH-DEL - A two class A330 I presume? Same question as above, any risk of something other than the 160 degree recline seats?

It's a close call between redeeming some miles with LH and paying for a QR ticket. Leaning towards QR but concerned that I might pick an A330 with a sub-standard product.

Thanks in advance.

I did this route on the 1st Oct and on the 15th Oct..you can read about it in my thread that I posted...

However, to be fair to QR, the flight its self was very comfortable. We flew coach class, and that was great. Lots of leg room, good movies, hours of them infact, and the food was very good...cant complain there at all.

From DEL to DOH we got upgraded to business, and to be honest I was a bit disapointed with it. The seat its self was not that comfortable compared to other business class seats such as Singapores or Air New Zealands, but when it went into lie flat, it was decent enough and I was able to sleep on it.

Hope this helps.
