:)Is there any breakfast or fast food places near the Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort (Kona)? Also, anyone knows how much is breakfast at the hotel? My folks will be going to Kona next Sept for wedding and this is their first trip to Big Island for three days... any recent food or hotel tips for this property will be greatly appreciated! I searched the past links already and the results seemed mixed...?? Also, how much time you recommend for the shuttle from hotel back to Kona airport when leaving? Thanks!...:)

If I remember, the Sheraton isn't really walking distance from any breakfast or fast food places. That was 2 years ago. There is a small strip mall , Keauhau Shopping Center, nearby, that has a KTA supermarket, some shops and restaurants. There is a Subway there, and a Hawaiian place that serves breakfasts. The town of Kailua-Kona is about 5 miles or so north on Alli Dr. That's where you'll find the largest selection of places to eat. Go up a block or so from Alii Dr., and you'll hit more non-touristy restaurants.
