Air New Zealand Air Points - Using Koru club member status to access AC Maple leaf lounges

Not sure if this should be here or over in the AC threads, but I might start here as those Canuks probably dont have any idea about what a Koru ( or club) is.

Apologies if this has been raised before, but I couldn't find the thread,

My partner and I are flying to Canada AKL-YVR and then after a break VYR-YYZ (and return) next year, but have no *G status, however we will be Koru Club Members,

From what I can gather we will be able to use the AC Maple leaf lounge at YVR on the return flight to AKL as it is a NZ ticketed flight, but my question is can we use the AC domestic lounges on the rest of our flights? ( will be flying AC)

AC claim that Maple leaf members have access to NZ domestic Koru lounges, so I am wondering if this is reciprocated? The Koru website is strangely silent on this matter.

Welcome to FT welly.:)
I suggest that you ring the Koru Club members line and ask.
However according the the T&C when I joined it specifically mention that you only have access when you fly on NZ code and metal, so I would say no to access.

Well I know that with Qantas Club membership you have access to BA and AA lounges when flying that day with those airlines (in addition of course to access to QF lounges). I'm not sure whether the same rules apply with Koru Club (ie: whether you are entitled to use *A parter airline lounges or only NZ lounges).

I take it that you are both KC members? Because one problem may be that the KC member has access to Maple Leaf Lounges (MLL's) but that the MLL won't accept the guest passes you get with the membership.

As Blackcloud has suggested, the best source of info is the Koru Club number at NZ.

P.S. If I remember correctly you can purchase single entry passes into the MLL.

No access.

While not directly applicable, the Koru Club T&Cs read

5.6 Access to Air New Zealand International Lounges is subject to the following conditions:
(a) Members must present their Membership Card and Air New Zealand International boarding pass or ticket for same day departure on an Air New Zealand ticketed and operated international flight departing from that airport;
