Las Vegas - Golden Nugget Alert

Just got back from 2 nights. Checked past 45 days on FT and did not see this covered.

WE had not seen the Fremont Street Experience before. So as part of a longer trip we stayed at the Golden Nugget for 2 night (room 1179 south tower).

ALERT number 1: They are building another tower next to the parking lot. Work began at 6 am one morning and 3AM the next. Trucks, crane, cement, pile drivers...no sleep unless you can sleep thru those things.

ALERT number 2: You can hear the band and the light experience until about midnight in your room.

NOTE this is a problem beyond the GN, some of the other DT hotel must also be impacted by this noise.

thanks. I actually considered staying there on Monday because I have a meeting downtown. I will look elsewhere.

When we were there in September we found that the music played by the pool went on well past midnight. I don't know if they continue to have the pool parties as temperatures start to cool off this time of year but it wouldn't hurt to ask when you check in.

Pool parties are done at this time, but Alert #1 is still very much in effect. I stayed there a few weeks ago for the first, and probably last, time.

I was not referring to the pool parties. The live band is out on the street at the Freemont experence. I don't believe that is seasonal.

You're correct, Fremont St Experience goes year round.
